Myrkwood Studios
Ironbreak Arena privacy policy
Effective September 25, 2026
This policy explains how Myrkwood Studios handles information in Ironbreak Arena on Android, desktop, and the web, on online services we operate for the game, and on myrkwoodstudios.com. A community game server is operated by its own host; see Community servers below.
Information we handle
- Platform identity and display name. On Android, Google Play Games can provide a gamer name that the game uses as your display name. If that is unavailable, the game uses a generated name. Older builds and other platforms can use a locally chosen name. The name you use in an online match is sent to the game server and may be visible to other players.
- Optional Google sign-in. If you choose Google sign-in for a persistent game session, Google provides an ID token to our identity service or the game server. We verify it and use a stable Google identifier to recognize your game data. The token can contain a Google profile name or email address; a game server may retain a normalized profile name. We do not use your Google password. Google Play Games display names and Google sign-in are separate flows and may use different Google accounts.
- Online play. Game servers receive your network address, display name, connection and session information, game actions, match results, statistics, progression, achievements, and saved game profile or customization data as needed to run matches and maintain your progress. Players can see information such as your display name, match actions, scores, and public profile or leaderboard entries. The game may store server history and preferences on your device.
- Player content. Some versions and platforms allow chat, profile text, or player-created maps. If you use those features, that content is sent to the server and may be shown to other players. Newer Android builds disable match chat and free-text name entry; earlier internal test builds can still have those features. Server and map names created by others may appear in the app.
- Community reports and blocks. If you report a server, map, or player in the Android app, Myrkwood Studios receives the report category, any details you write, the relevant server address or ID, map hash or current match player ID when applicable, your client version, and the report time. We use this information to investigate and act on abuse. Reports are available only to authorized moderators. Server and map choices you hide locally are stored on your device; we do not receive that local list unless you include it in a report.
- Diagnostics. If you turn on diagnostic logging in settings, the client may send performance, connection, device/browser, and match details to the selected game server after rounds or connection problems. This setting is off by default. Servers also keep operational and security logs, which can include network addresses and connection events.
- Website and support. Our website host receives ordinary request information, including network address and browser details. The website loads fonts from Google. If you email support, we receive your address, message, and any information you choose to include so we can respond and handle your request.
Why we use this information
We use it to provide gameplay, authenticate optional sessions, save progress, show player names and results, maintain and secure our services, troubleshoot problems, respond to support and deletion requests, and prevent abuse. We do not sell player data or use it for advertising. The Android app does not include our own advertising or analytics SDK.
Who receives it
Google processes Play Games profiles and optional Google sign-in under its own policies. We use Cloudflare to deliver our website and hosting providers to run our online services. They process information needed to provide those services. When you join a game server, its operator receives the data needed for that connection and game session. Other players receive the information shown in the game, such as display names and results. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect players and our services.
Community servers
Independent operators can run Ironbreak Arena game servers. They receive your network address, display name, gameplay data, and any content you submit to their server. Their settings, logs, retention, and deletion procedures are controlled by them. In the newer Android identity flow, our identity service gives a server a limited game-session ticket rather than your Google credential. A legacy browser sign-in offered by a game server can instead send a Google ID token directly to that server. Contact the server operator about records held on that server; we can help identify the right contact when possible.
Storage, security, and retention
Local settings and customization remain on your device until you change them, clear app data, or uninstall. We use encrypted connections for public Android game and identity services, restrict access to operational data, and use short-lived session credentials. No security measure is absolute.
We keep game profile, provider-association, and progression records while needed to provide the service or until a verified deletion request is fulfilled. Our current game-server default removes detailed match history and kill events after 30 days; aggregate statistics and progression may last longer. Identity security events are pruned after 30 days, deletion receipts after 90 days, and encrypted identity backups follow a 35-day local retention schedule. Community reports and moderator decisions are kept while needed to investigate, enforce the rules, handle repeat abuse, or meet legal obligations. Operational logs and support messages are kept only as needed for service, security, or request handling. A server operator can configure different retention.
Your choices and deletion
You can play offline Solo without Google sign-in. Guest multiplayer depends on the server. You can turn diagnostic uploads off in settings. On Android, Settings → Account & privacy provides a path to request identity deletion. You can also visit the game identity privacy page to verify your Google identity, revoke game sessions, and remove its provider association. That action does not delete your Google account or automatically remove records stored by a game server.
To request deletion of associated game data on services Myrkwood Studios operates, email ironbreakdeletionrequest@myrkwoodstudios.com or use our Ironbreak Arena data deletion page. We may need to verify that the data is yours before removing or de-identifying it. We may retain limited records where needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or to document a completed request. For data on an independent community server, contact its operator.
Changes and contact
We will update this page if our practices change and post the new effective date here. For questions about this policy, email support@myrkwoodstudios.com.
